Shane “Swerve” Strickland Debuts At AEW Revolution
Shane “Swerve” Strickland is now #AllElite indeed. The former standout from WWE’s NXT brand signed his contract with All Elite Wrestling during the Revolution Pay-Per-View event on Sunday in Orlando.
AEW Owner Tony Khan took to Twitter to announce the signing on during the show on Sunday.
Strickland was recently known as Isiah “Swerve” Scott during his time in WWE where was reigned as the NXT North American Champion before having brief call up to the main roster as part of Friday Night SmackDown. He was released by WWE in November of 2021 due to budget cuts. Since his release he has been active, appearing for several promotions including the TERMINUS. He was also announced as being part of the upcoming Ring of Honor revival show, which makes his deal with AEW even sweeter as Tony Khan just purchased ROH this past week.
One thing is for sure: Swerve will be “must-see” in AEW.
