William Regal is All Elite, Makes Debut At Revolution
William Regal is also All Elite. The Legendary professional wrestler made his debut for All Elite Wrestling Sunday night in Orland at the Revolution Pay-Per-View to a roaring pop and a shocked reaction from the live audience.
He appeared at the end of the Jon Moxley vs Bryan Danielson match, interrupting a post-match scuffle between the two. Regal confronted the two, and connected with thunderous slaps to the face of both combatants. He then, it appeared, to unite the two men together but that remains to be seen.
Tony Khan took to Twitter shortly after to announce the signing.
Regal is said to have one of the best minds in the business, turning professional at the age of 15 years old. He was a former 4x WCW World Television Champion but best known for his run with World Wrestling Entertainment. In WWE, Regal was the 2008 King of the Ring Winner, a four-time European Champion, a five-time Hardcore Champion, a four-time Tag Team Champion, and a two-time Intercontinental Champion. After his retirement from in-ring competition in 2013, he worked behind the scenes as well as on camera in mentor and authority figure role.
WWE released Regal back in January, ending a 22-year run with the company where he held the titles of Head of Global Recruiting and Director of Talent Development.
What he does here in AEW remains to be seen but one thing is sure you do not want to miss any of it!
