“The Reaper” Robert Whittaker seems to be teasing a return to the UFC’s welterweight division. Whittaker finds himself in a similar situation to Colby Covington of they have one guy who they’ve both dropped two losses to Israel Adesanya and Kamaru Usman respectively. It looks like however that a drop back down to 170 could be sooner than Rob may have wanted.
Alternatively, Rob could also be referring to the beginning of a new training camp which would be quite early following his loss to “The Last Stylebender” just last month. A drop in weight class may be rushed thinking from “The Reaper” but could also be the revitalization he needs following his second loss to Adesanya. We will see when Whittaker’s next fight is booked which way his career will turn.
