WWE NXT Sees A Rise In Viewership For Roadblock Special
On this week’s WWE NXT Roadblock Special, Dolph Ziggler was able to capture the NXT Championship as a triple threat match between Ziggler, Tommaso Ciampa and Bron Breakker headlined the special event. The show also featured the semi-finals of the Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, the March 8th episode of NXT 2.0 brought in 613,000 viewers for Roadblock. They also garnered a .13 in the 18 to 49 demographic. For comparison, the March 1st episode of WWE NXT 2.0 brought an overnight average of 551,000 viewers with a .13 in the 18 to 49 demographic while the February 22nd edition brought an average viewership of 612,000 with a .12 in the 18 to 49 demographic.
The February 15th Vengeance Day NXT 2.0 special brought in 525,000 viewers with a 0.11 in the 18 to 49 demographic, despite being moved to SyFy for the Olympics.
