Last week it was reported that WWE NXT 2.0 star Roderick Strong would be making an appearance on an upcoming episode of NXT UK after he was spotted at the UK performance centre, we now that he will be facing Gallus’ Wolfgang on next week’s NXT UK.
The announcement came during a segment of last night’s edition of NXT UK, Assistant to NXT UK’s General Manager, Sid Scala was about to make the announcement that NXT 2.0 Diamond Mine’s Roderick Strong would making an appearance on next weeks NXT UK.
He was interrupted just as he was making the announcement by Gallus’ Wolfgang looking for a new challenge, Scala then took the opportunity to make the match up between Wolfgang and Strong, making the announcement on the spot.
Gallus’ Wolfgang has been on roll on NXT UK lately including a big win over Jordan Devlin, he was also part of NXT UK’s last Heritage Cup tournament where he made it to the finals but was eventually beaten by Noam Dar.
This was not the only big match up announced on last nights edition of NXT UK, as NXT UK Tag team champions Moustache Mountain challenged Oliver Carter and Ashton Smith to singles matches so that they could earn another shot at the Tag Team Championships. So next week Ashton Smith will face Trent Seven and Oliver Carter will go up against Tyler Bate.
