This Sunday marks the start of an historic week for Progress Wrestling, with their first ever all female show on the 22nd , their first ever all BAME show in the 23rd followed by the 10th Anniversary show on the 25th of March.
This historic week all starts this Sunday 20th of March with Chapter 130 Dodge Dip Duck Dive Dodge, with one of the biggest matches in recent British Wrestling History as ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham faces Progress World Champion Cara Noir in title vs title match.
That’s not all Chapter 130 will also see the new No. 1 Contender for the women’s Championship will face the former No. 1 Contender, The tag team titles will be on the line, two up and coming teams face off to be entered in the tag team title gauntlet match at 10th Anniversary show and more.

Title vs Title
(ROH World champion) Jonathan Gresham vs (Progress World Champion) Cara Noir
ROH Champion Jonathan Gresham’s last two defences of his ROH Championship at Progress shows were successful against Chris Ridgeway at Chapter 128 and most recently against Dean Allmark at Chapter 129. Cara Noir is currently the longest reigning Progress Wrestling Champion having held the championship since Chapter 101, successfully defending the championship on many occasions most recently at chapter 129 against Swerve the realist.
Both of Gresham’s two ROH World title defences at Progress have been fought under Ring Of Honor Pure Rules but as of now this match will be held under typical wrestling rules. Both Cara Noir and Jonathan Gresham competed in the recent wXw 16 Carat Gold Tournament, Gresham would go on to win that tournament, whilst Noir crashed out in the quarter finals to the man Gresham would defeat in the final, Robert Driesker.
Tag Team Championship Match
Smokin Aces (c) vs The 0121
The Aces have held the belts for 166 days since winning the championships from Lykos gym back at Chapter 121, they have successfully defended their championships on 5 occasions against the likes of the Greedy Souls, Sunshine Machine and the Kings Of The North. The 0121 have had limited tag team matches since the Progress re-launch but have picked up a win against the Sunshine Machine as well as Lykos Gym in a six man tag, the mix of Maloney’s Power and Dereiss’ speed make them a threat to every tag team in Progress including the champions.
North West Strong vs Charles Crowley and Elijah
Elijah and Crowley are still looking for that big win as pair in Progress Wrestling, Ridgeway had to miss the last Chapter due to Injury so will be eager for his North West Strong team to pick up the win after defeats to Cara Noir and Jonathan Gresham in recent chapters. The match up has been given some extra incentive as the winners of the match will be entered into the Tag Team Championship Gauntlet match at Chapter 132: The 25th Anniversary Show.
Kanji vs Rhio
Kanji returns to singles competition following her return from injury at the last Chapter where she competed and won the ThunderBastard match to become No. 1 Contender, now she will face the former No. 1 Contender in Rhio. Rhio recently challenged Progress Women’s champion Gisele Shaw unsuccessfully after she had won the Revelations Of Divine Love Tournament for honour, she has chance to rebound from that loss against the new No. 1 Contender and force her way back into the title picture.
Trish Adora & Holidead vs Mercedez Blaze and Taonga
Adora will be making her Progress Wrestling debut, as Holidead makes her return to Progress, both competitors have been very impressive on the American independent scene and that has led appearances on ROH, GCW and AEW Dark. They will be teaming together to face the formidable pairing of Mercedez Blaze and Toanga, the pair seem to be back on the same page as they wreaked havoc during the women’s Thunderbastard match at the last chapter.
Gene Munny vs Adam Maxted
Adam Maxted made his shocking debut at Chapter 129 attacking Gene Munny following his match with Kid Lykos, now Maxted makes his official in ring debut in a match with one of Progress Wrestling’s top stars. Munny has been on a roll picking up some big wins as he looks to insert himself in the up coming Super Strong Style 16, he’s not going to allow Maxted to make a name for himself at his expense.
Danny Black, Callum Newman, Just Joe Lando and Maverick Mayhew vs Malik, Lykos Gym and Warren Banks
Lando, Mayhew and Newman all made their Progress debuts at the last chapter, as the real life close friends competed against each other and Danny Black in a fatal 4 way in which Black came away victorious. As Black was celebrating his win in the he was assaulted by Malik, who was then chased off by Lando, Newman and Mayhew backstage Danny Black sent a message to Malik to try find himself some friends to face him and friends in an 8 man tag match. Kosta Kostanino must have struck a deal to get Lykos Gym, Kid Lykos and Kid Lykos II as well as Warren Banks, as the three men who will be providing back up for Malik in this 8 man tag match.
