Bellator have been returning to the old Grand Prix style of fight tournaments, the most recent announced has been the bantamweight grand prix set to take place throughout 2022. One of the top names entered in was SBG’s James Gallagher, however per Nolan King, Sports Illustrated and MMAJunkie, Gallagher is now out of the tournament with an unconfirmed injury.
James Gallagher has faced much ridicule for his act that seems to mirror teammate Conor McGregor’s trash talking style. Gallagher last fought at Bellator 270 back in November when he lost via submission in the third round. No name has been revealed to replace “The Strabanimal” but the news will be broken on Bodyslam.net as the news is revealed.
