CCK Reuinte As Jonathan Gresham Retains Progress World Championship At 10th Anniversary Show
Progress celebrated their 10th anniversary last night back at their first ever home the Garage in London, it was a night of celebrations and landmarks and time for fans to celebrate their love for one of, if not the biggest promotions in the UK.
However fans had little to celebrate following the main event, with many fans and competitors firmly behind the one, the original of the new generation of Progress, Warren Banks, as he faced off with Jonathan Gresham for the Progress World Championship.
Fans and competitors had turned against the ROH World Champion and winner of the 16 Carat Gold Tournament after the way he had won the Progress world Championship from the much beloved champion Cara Noir.
Banks and Gresham competed back and forth for 20 plus minutes with no clear winner in sight, Gresham would once again break the hearts of the Progress fans. When he was able to defeat the fan favourite challenger after Lykos Gym would betray their adopted brother in favour of resurrecting CCK with champion Jonathan Gresham.

Lykos Gym had adopted Warren Banks into the Lykos Gym stable tagging with him on several occasions with Banks even receiving custom trunks and a mask. However Kid Lykos’ relationship with Jonathan Gresham date back even further after he joined CCK alongside his original mentor Chris Brookes.
Chris Brookes and Jonathan Gresham formed the Calamari Catch Kings in 2013 in wXw Germany with Kid Lykos joining Chris Brookes as part of abbreviated CCK in 2016, Gresham and Brookes would reunite in America when Gresham replaced an injured Kid Lykos in matches against LAX.
After Kid Lykos was forced to retire due to injury Kid Lykos II would temporarily replace Kid Lykos teaming with Chris Brookes as CCK before Chris Bookes left to compete in Japan as part of the DDT Promotion.

It would seem that Lykos Gym are now looking to resurrect CCK alongside the Current Progress World Champion, with the talks of DDT working with AEW along with Jontahan Gresham set to sign with AEW could we see CCK go world wide?
