PROGRESS’ biggest event of their calendar year, the Super Strong Style 16, takes place from the 3rd of June to the 5th of June, the first entrant for this years tournament was announced as AEW star Swerve The Realest.
At PROGRESS’ upcoming Chapter 134: No Mountain High Enough Gene Munny will compete against Jonathan Gresham for a spot in the tournament he’s been campaigning for since 2019. Also at Chapter 134, 4 members of the wXw Roster Jurn Simmons, Axel Tischer, Maggot and Bobby Guns will also compete for a spot.
PROGRESS officially announced that the 2nd entrant for this years Super Strong Style 16 as Warren Banks, making the announcement via social media yesterday evening.
Banks has been one of the top stars of the new generation of PROGRESS, a finalist in the 2021 Natural Progression series, he recently challenged PROGRESS World Champion Jonathan Gresham at the PROGRESS 10th anniversary show and was a semi-finalist in the recent Atlas Tournament.
