Becky Lynch: Women In AEW Aren’t As Good As We Are
It goes without saying that Becky Lynch is the biggest women’s star WWE have had in recent memory. Up until her loss to Bianca Belair she had actively held the Women’s Championship for close to 3 years, minus her break due to pregnancy. She has been more than happy to play the company women’s face and recently she commented her opinion on the AEW women’s division when she was asked for it on Drew Garabo Live Featured Cut Of The Day.
“I wish I could say ‘yes,’ but, unfortunately, I don’t think they are represented the way we are, they don’t get as much time as we get and frankly, they’re not as good as we are,”
Lynch seemed dismissive of the division, currently reigned by Thunder Rosa and Jade Cargill.
“We have, certainly on Raw, we have the best women’s division in the world. I say that without any hesitation in my voice. We have the best women’s division in the world. Competition is great and it’s great for there to be another place and I have a very good friend, Ruby Soho, over there and I would love to see her as champion one day. I would love to see her get the spotlight she deserves. Competition is always great. Over here, we’re on another level.”
It is nice to see Becky Lynch still wishes Ruby Soho well. Some may disagree about Monday Night RAW having the best women’s division on the planet but when you look at their roster, it is hard to argue with ‘Big Time Becks’. Lynch will look to continue to elevate the division with her current storyline with the returning Asuka.
