The air seems to be Sammy Guevara’s second home. During his time at All Elite Wrestling, the ‘Spanish God’ has established flying spots as his bread and butter, and the ladder match as his specialty.
However, this was to little avail on AEW: Dynamite for Guevara. In a ladder match wherein his TNT championship was on the line, Guevara lost the belt to new champion Scorpio Sky.
The match pitted Guevara and Tay Conti against Sky and his American Top Team comrade Paige Van Zant. Sky was able to knock Guevara from the ladder, sending him tumbling to the canvas, while Sky grasped the TNT belt. This ends Guevara’s third TNT championship reign.
