It was believed that another round of WWE releases was coming, and it turns out that it was today..
It seems the day for budget cuts and releases has finally come as WWE have released both Dakota Kai and Malcolm Bivens from their WWE contracts, per Fightful. Kai had been signed to the company since late 2016, having several challenges for NXT titles, winning the NXT Women’s Tag Titles twice. Bivens had been signed since March 2019 and was the manager for the NXT stable Diamond Mine.
Kai was said to have seen the release coming while Bivens had made it clear he did not want to re sign with the company before his contract expired.
