Darius Martin is one half of the promising young team Top Flight along with his brother Dante. He has been very unlucky in his career with AEW, missing over a year of action due to a horrible ACL injury. Most recently, reports broke that Darius was hurt and would miss a lot of time in the ring – however, Darius took to Twitter to confirm he didn’t suffer the injury while wrestling. It would be just 11 matches into his current run that he would find himself back on the shelf and now we know the extent of his injuries.
Darius managed to pull himself out of his hospital bed to take a selfie, sporting a cast on his left arm, a neck brace, multiple bruises on his right arm. The 22 year old seems to be in good spirits despite his injuries, which clearly are a result of some kind of accident. He joked that the doctors told him is ACL is fine – despite being in said neck brace. Hopefully the young high flier will have a speedy recovery and returns when he’s ready and healthy.
