There have been a few superstars who have crossed over from WWE to AEW, it is not an uncommon scenario as we have seen. Time and time again we have seen underutilised NXT and main roster talents showing up in AEW. Now, it appears another former NXT champion will be appearing on AEW Dark.
Leon Ruff, a former North American champion has showed up at the AEW Dark tapings earlier today. Ruff was released from WWE in August of last year following a shock win of the title from Johnny Gargano. It is unclear if Ruff is signed to any deal or if there will be any more AEW appearances in the future for the former NXT star.
