Swerve Strickland has been on fire since debuting for AEW. Every match he wrestles he seems to bring something new to the table. Currently he is in a storyline with Keith Lee taking on Team Taz members Powerhouse Hobbs and Ricky Starks. This has been a compelling storyline thanks to the hard work put in by all four men. However, with Forbidden Door approaching, fans and wrestlers alike are calling for dream matches and Swerve is no different.
Will Ospreay is certainly going to feature at Forbidden Door, being one of NJPW’s top stars. He has recently wrestled the likes of Jon Moxley at Windy City Riot last month. Time will tell if Swerve will get the dream match he wants at Forbidden Door, but one way or another Strickland and Ospreay should definitely feature on this massive card.
