At Ring Of Honor Supercard of Honor, Mercedes Martinez became the interim ROH Women’s champion and booked a date with Deonna Purrazzo. The match would serve as a unification match to bring the Interim and original title together.
The match was a competitive affair, despite being short in length. Despite the commentary team letting us know we would stay with the action until it ends, the run off lasted just over three minutes as Martinez would lock in the Dragon Sleeper and tap Deonna Purrazzo out to become the undisputed Ring Of Honor Women’s Champion.
