Its rare that a wrestling show ends on a cliff hanger and even more rare is when it works. A cliff hanger is designed to make fans watch the next episode to find out what happens next. Usually we have to wait a week to find out the cause – but now with digital exclusives we find out sooner.
At the culmination of NXT 2.0 Spring Breakin, two hooded figures appeared behind NXT champion Bron Breakker as the show was fading to black and a digital exclusive posted by WWE has revealed what occurred.
Due to the DDT used and the two’s build, fans have speculated that the hooded figures could be Grizzled Young Veterans. Despite his win, Breakker ended up stretchered out of the arena by the hooded men. Time will tell who the hooded men are for sure – but the storyline is certainly peaking.
