We have been dealing with qualifiers for both the men’s and women’s Owen Hart Foundation tournaments for a while. Most recently, Jeff Hardy qualified for the tournament by defeating Bobby Fish on AEW Dynamite. Other names in the men’s tournament include Adam Cole, Samoa Joe, Kyle O’ Reilly and Darby Allin plus more. The women’s tournament will feature Britt Baker, Jamie Hayter, Ruby Soho, Toni Storm and more.
It was confirmed tonight on Dynamite by Excalibur that the Owen Hart tournaments first round matches will take place next week on AEW TV. Both finals are set to take place at Double or Nothing, so they will not have much time to spread the matches out. With those who are qualified for each tournament however, its pretty solid bet that these matches will be quality.
Also on Dynamite we saw an interview segment between Ruby Soho, Toni Storm, Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter to hype up their match on Rampage later this week.
