San Antonio Frontrunner To Host Royal Rumble 2023
The Royal Rumble has been upgraded from an arena show to a stadium show in recent years. Bar the The Thunder Dome Rumble, over the last 6 years there have been 4 stadium shows and one of those stadiums looks set to host a second Rumble.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reports that the Royal Rumble 2023 host frontrunner is The Alamodome in San Antonio. The stadium hosted the event in 2017, when Randy Orton won the Royal Rumble match to headline Wrestlemania 33.
This event also featured John Cena’s 16th World Title win. Fightful also report Seattle and New Orleans had expressed interest in hosting the event. Cultaholic discuss Sapp’s report in the video below.
