Tessa Blanchard Has Falling Out With WOW, Future With Company Uncertain
Tessa Blanchard is a controversial person within the pro wrestling world. She has been the centre of racism scandals, bullying scandals. However, she was the leader in intergender matchups for a time and her star power as a performer is still high, hence her WOW signing.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select now reports that Blanchard has had a falling out with WOW brass and her future with the company is now uncertain.
Fightful Selects Report went into further detail on the issues with Blanchard and WOW:
Via sources that work for WOW in a talent capacity, Fightful has been informed of allegations of issues surrounding Tessa Blanchard and Wow. We do not know her status for this week’s WOW tapings.
The issue within verifying the information is that may people have signed non-disclosure agreements with the company.
One source alleges that in a class in mid-April, Blanchard cut a promo on wrestler Samantha Sage, known as Americans. We’re told the promo saw Blanchard “tear apart” Sage, leading to many trainees speaking up. Acting classes were cancelled until further notice following the incident. We reached out to Sage but didn’t hear back.
Another source indicated that Blanchard is no longer in charge of training talent, and Selina Majors has been brought back to handle that moving forward.
One former WOW star speculated as far as saying that they believe Tessa is gone from the company, but we haven’t confirmed as much. We reached out to WOW in an official capacity weeks ago, but haven’t heard back.

It appears more controversy is heading Blanchard’s way. It may effect the company massively both from a monetary and critical point of view. Blanchard was a big part of WOW’s initial announcement as a promotion and are set to record tapings later this week.
