Earlier this year, Tony Khan announced he had purchased Ring Of Honor and immediately took control of booking and promoting the promotion, however the sale was not actually finalized.
Supercard of Honor did extremely well and was well received by fans. However, the sale hadn’t gone through till today.
Tony posted his usual hype tweet for AEW Dynamite earlier today and included an interesting note. The sale of Ring Of Honor was finalized today, meaning Khan now officially owns Ring Of Honor. Now that he has full ownership, it should be interesting to see how Ring Of Honor changes in the coming months.
Since the announcement in February, ROH talents have become regulars on AEW Dynamite. There have also been several title ROH title matches on AEW TV also. Tonight we will see Deonna Purrazzo take on Mercedes Martinez to unify the Ring Of Honor Women’s Championships.
