Tonight’s AEW Rampage was a fun show. Kicking off with Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter vs Ruby Soho and Toni Storm, the card rode the momentum of the first match throughout the early start time. One segment however, got a much louder reaction than the rest.
Hook squared off with J.D. Drake on Rampage in a short but fun encounter. Hook would end up winning the match with a rear naked choke. However, the real fun began after the bell when Danhausen made his way to the ring to ask something from Hook.
Danhausen would request Hook to be in his corner for his match with Tony Nese next week in Long Island. After a brief pause – and Danhausen touching Hook – Hook would shove Danhausen to the floor. Danhausen comically slid out of the ring, leaving behind a gift for Hook on his birthday: A Bag of Chips with a bow on top.
