Two weeks ago, AEW and NJPW announced their first partnered PPV, Forbidden Door will take place in June.
Pre-sale tickets went live early Thursday morning. 40 minutes later, the presale was completely sold out with public tickets released on Friday.
Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer tweeted on Friday that the tickets went “instantly” when they were put on sale. This makes the event a complete sell out, despite not having a single match booked for the card already.
