Bray Wyatt’s Huge WWE Salary At Time Of Release Revealed
Bray Wyatt is one of the real ‘what if’s’ in pro wrestling. While he held multiple world championships in WWE, he was often booked horribly. His run as The Fiend burned red hot initially but eventually fans grew tired of the character.
Fans were particularly annoyed at the appearance of Alexa Bliss taking the Firefly Funhouse gimmick. Wyatt would be released in July of 2021 and has yet to return to pro wrestling.
According to Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Bray Wyatt was being paid in the range of $4 million a year. This made him the third or fourth highest paid talent in the company. This will come as a surprise to fans given Wyatt’s rocky past with booking:
At the time he left the company he was believed to be the third or fourth highest paid performer on the roster with a contract in the $4 million per year range at the time he was cut and was a major merchandise draw.

Now fans will understand why Wyatt – now going by Windham – has not been in a rush to return to the ring. Wyatt recently got engaged to longtime partner and former WWE ring announcer Jojo Offerman.
