Mia Yim has been away from Impact for a while. Prior to her signing with NXT, she was a prominent member of the Impact Knockouts division. During her time away, she featured in NXT heavily even at one point challenging for the NXT Women’s Championship. When she came to the main roster however, things got bad. Yim was put into the stable Retribution, which didn’t last long following a short run as a faction.
This weekend at IMPACT Under Siege, Mia Yim made her return to Impact after years away. Fightful Select now reports that this is not a one off – Yim has signed a deal with the company that will last six months – conveniently carrying Yim through Bound For Glory. She previously held the Knockouts Championship and is probably on the road to holding the title once again.
