Roman Reigns is arguably the biggest star on the active WWE roster. He has held the Universal championship for well over 600 days – getting closer and closer to a two year title reign for the Tribal Chief. Roman has also crossed over into Hollywood previously, featuring in Hobbs And Shaw with his cousin The Rock. Roman also has teased leaving the company and beginning a ‘new phase in his life’.
While rumours swirl regarding his possible cross-over, WWE president Nick Khan spoke to The Town and mentioned that the company sees Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns as the next guy to make that eventual jump to Hollywood:
“We think he’s certainly up there, we have big plans to help him cross over, which we think will be great for him and certainly great to do with him.”

Khan also spoke about The Rock from when he attempted to make the same jump:
“I think he was given advice early on to, ‘Hey, get rid of the muscles. Don’t be a handsome leading man. Distance yourself from WWE.’ You saw the result was like with the Tooth Fairy movie, he, to his credit, like Vince and like other people, has the unique ability to see things clearly. Instead of saying, ‘Hey, this Tooth Fairy thing was great! I made X number of millions of dollars on it!’ It was more, ‘This is not what I want this to be.’ It wasn’t authentic.”
