Roman Reigns Reportedly Signs New WWE Deal
Viewers of May 8’s WrestleMania: Backlash ppv were treated to a six man tag match between the Bloodline and RK-Bro, with aid from Drew McIntyre, as the main event. Roman Reigns squared off at times during the match with his potential adversary for the World Wrestling Entertainment Undisputed Universal Championship, McIntyre, and won victory for the Bloodline by pinning Riddle with a spear. However, the ppv victory came shortly after Reigns mystified crowds at a New Jersey live show days before. Despite his comments about starting a new phase in his life, it seems Reigns has signed a new deal with WWE.
Details provided by WrestlePurists , as per Fightful Select state that Reigns was merely referencing the details of his new deal. WrestlePurists goes on to quote Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, “The situation is that he’s got a new deal, and the new deal is for far less dates. I don’t know how many house shows he’s gonna be doing but it would be much less than the number he’s doing now.”
The situation regarding Reigns seems to be that he will be committing to fewer untelevised appearances. However, WWE fans will certainly still feel their ‘Tribal Chief’’s presence on weekly television, and pay per view.
