WWE Uses 10 Year Old Crowd Footage During WrestleMania Backlash
WWE have a habit of altering history and quotes in their promos for PPV matches.
While the promos tend to be an excellent example of the talent behind the scenes in WWE, it is not always positive. For example, fans aren’t over the moon at the rapid camera cuts that have previously been attached to Kevin Dunn. However, now it seems there’s even more laziness regarding WWE production.
@WrestlingSnowman on Twitter noticed that during a promotional package at WrestleMania Backlash, WWE used a crowd shot of fans that turned out to be over ten years old, featuring Brock Lesnar Guy, one of the more recognizable fans who attend many WWE shows in the front row.
The recap where the crowd shot was present turned out to be during Madcap Moss vs Happy Corbin’s promo prior to their match. Unfortunately we have no way of knowing why WWE would do this other than sheer laziness.
