Drew McIntyre is a very brave man.
Recently, Tyson Fury announced his retirement from boxing following a TKO win in Wembley last month. He has repeatedly teased a match-up with Drew McIntyre in a WWE ring, perhaps in Cardiff later this year. Fury has wrestled previously in 2019, defeating Braun Strowman via countout.
Now, McIntyre has stoked the fire by taking some light hearted shots at the boxing world champion while speaking to New York Newsday:
“I appreciate that my name is always in his mouth. He’s got an obsession with Drew McIntyre, which is kind of weird. But I kind of like it at the same time. We’ve been going back and forth to each other nonstop for a couple of years. He’s got our number. My focus is on Roman Reigns and the titles right now. But if he wants to do business, he knows our people. Give us a call.”
