The United States Championship is not the only WWE title to mention geography in its name.

The European Championship was debuted in 1997, running till 2002 as a championship within WWE. The title has been the subject of possible championship revivals over the year, now it appears Drew McIntyre has had his say regarding the belt returning.

Speaking to Talksport, McIntyre addressed the idea of bring back and winning the European Championship:

“I just want it. I don’t like too many titles and there are a lot right now, but I just wanted it when I was a kid. So just bring it back, let me win it and then I’ll retire it. Give old Drew the European title for young Drew.”
