AEW Double Or Nothing Gate Breaks Record
AEW continues to break records in the wrestling industry.
When it comes to professional wrestling, it is best for fans to acknowledge there are two kinds of companies. WWE and not WWE. Both offer different perspectives – even when it comes to AEW – due to WWE being a company with almost half a century of history.
Now it appears AEW have broken a non-WWE record. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AEW Double Or Nothing will end up with a gate of around $1.2 million.
This will make the event the largest gate in the history of professional wrestling outside of WWE. Of course, we found out earlier this week that Forbidden Door has also reached a million+ gate. At Double Or Nothing CM Punk will challenge Adam Page for the AEW World Title. We will also see two tournament winners crowned. We will have to wait and see how successful AEW will become in the coming months.
