The pint sized pixie may be on her way to AEW.
Candice LeRae recently had her WWE contract expire, officially making her a free agent and able to be signed by any other promotion. Obviously, the first place fans speculated was AEW. There is currently a Joker scheduled to show up next week on AEW Dynamite and fans have speculated this may be Candice LeRae.
In this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer discussed Candice’s free agency. It was noted that several people in positions of power at AEW would love to sign her.
“Candice LaRae (Candace Gargano, 36) had her contract expire over the weekend. Many close to the situation expected WWE to freeze her contract due to her being out of action due to pregnancy. But what would be a terrible public look to have done so when she didn’t sign a new deal. There is no non-compete so she and her husband Johnny are both free agents. While we don’t know Tony Khan’s thoughts on the matter, it is obvious that there are people in power at AEW who would want her in the company. In the PWG days, The Young Bucks worked memorable matches with LeRae & Joey Ryan, who toured indies as “The World’s Cutest tag team.”

Time will tell if we will see Candice show up in AEW and if she is the Joker scheduled to debut this Wednesday.
