Big WWE Shop Changes May Be Ahead
There may be a reshuffle going around in WWE’s board rooms.
Not many wrestling fans understand the business part of the industry. There is a lot of background staff in promotions like WWE who may not even watch the product in charge of marketing, sponsorships and other major inner workings of the promotion.
According to Brad Shepard Unleashed, a major WWE executive is set to leave the company soon. Kevin Moore is the Vice President of E-Commerce and Venue Merchandise and has been an integral part of the company’s merchandising success for 10 years.
“I spoke with multiple sources in WWE and they have confirmed Kevin Moore will be leaving WWE. Kevin is the Vice President of E-Commerce and Venue Merchandise. His responsibilities include WWEShop.com and venue (live events) merchandising.”
“I’m also told this was a ‘hit to morale’ because he was very well liked across many departments and had strong relationships with people at all levels. He was described to me as involved with talent, hands on and approachable.”
“He is leaving on his own accord. Kevin has been with WWE for almost 10 years and is considered a key piece to the success of WWE’s merchandising model and revenue.”

This change could lead to a complete overhaul of the WWE online shop amongst other things in the near future. His entire role encapsulated merchandise for the business – so the next person in the role may not approve the same merch we have seen as of late.
