Matt Hardy Wants The Hardy Boyz In The WWE Hall of Fame
Matt Hardy is open to working with WWE regarding his legacy.
Matt and Jeff Hardy have one of the largest legacies in pro wrestling, especially in tag team wrestling ladder matches. While they currently are signed to AEW, they have had multiple runs with the WWE and Jeff was a multi-time world champion in the company. When Jeff was released following a mix-up, WWE offered him a Hall Of Fame induction to return to the company, which Jeff would decline at the time.
While speaking on “The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy,” Matt Hardy stated that he thinks it would be fitting for him and Jeff Hardy to get inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame.
“I think so. I feel very confident about that. I think that would be fitting, and I think obviously, we’re a deserving team. Jeff would be deserving on his own. I think there’s a lot of cases that can be made that I’m very deserving on my own as well. I feel like the most fitting person to induct us would be the guy who we learned the most from, who really helped us when we first started becoming a success in pro wrestling, and that would be Michael P.S. Hayes.”
