Tonight’s RAW main event was thrown together last minute.
Tonight’s RAW saw an interesting scenario play out regarding the main event match. Originally advertised at the opening of the show was a 6 pack challenge to decide the next challenger for Bianca Belair’s RAW Women’s Championship at Hell In A Cell. Unfortunately, Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out on the taping, throwing the main event into question. WWE would throw together a quick one on one match between Lynch and Asuka in the main event of the show.
Asuka would end up winning the match following some shenanigans involving Belair. With the referee distracted, Lynch would try to use Asuka’s umbrella against her, only to be met with the green mist and a head kick, handing Asuka the win. She will now face Bianca Belair at WWE Hell In A Cell for the RAW Women’s Championship.
