Cody Rhodes may get some heat for these comments.
Cody Rhodes signed with the WWE earlier this year following his AEW exit. He would return to the company at WrestleMania 38, taking on Seth Rollins. He has continued his program with Rollins and will be facing Seth at Hell In A Cell next month. Rhodes is incredibly talented in and outside the ring and has had some incredible matches over the last few years.
While speaking with Sports Illustrated, Cody Rhodes stated that he thinks he is the best wrestler in the world by a large margin. Rhodes added that he didn’t mean it to draw heat from anyone.
“I think I’m the best wrestler in the world. And I think it’s by a large margin. That upsets a lot of people, but I don’t mean it to draw ire. This is all I do. I’m not in charge. I’m here to hone my craft, build my body, and win matches. Every week, I have to be better. That’s the ultimate clarity for me.”
