William Regal continues to be all class when speaking about WWE.
William Regal debuted in AEW earlier this year at Revolution. Since, he has began the faction known as the Blackpool Combat Club. Prior to this, he was working in WWE as an authority figure for NXT. He was in this role for quite a while following the end of his in ring career in 2013.
While speaking on The Sessions with Renee Paquette, Regal talked about his WWE release. Regal said that he feels his release made perfect business sense and that he even saw it coming.
“I was expecting it, to be honest. It makes perfect business sense, as well. You can’t have somebody else come in when everybody there is still coming up to me and asking me what should they be doing … It was the perfect storm, and then [Triple H] got ill.”

Regal has no intention of speaking negatively about WWE since being released by the company. Regal is currently managing The Blackpool Combat Club as they have gotten involved with the Jericho Appreciation Society.
