Becky Lynch Suggested Asuka Beating Her Following Naomi and Banks’ RAW Walkout
Becky Lynch may be the saviour of Monday’s RAW taping.
We know that backstage at Monday’s RAW was thrown into chaos following Naomi and Sasha Banks walking out of the taping, citing creative issues and handing in their women’s tag team titles. WWE would send Becky Lynch and Adam Pearce out to do a segment explaining that the six pack challenge would be a one on one encounter between Asuka and Lynch.
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Becky suggested that Asuka beat her in the match after Banks and Naomi walked out of the show.
“A suggestion was made, reportedly by Lynch, to have Lynch vs. Asuka in a singles match for the title shot. Because they are trying to avoid a straight singles match with Belair and Lynch until a major PPV show, Lynch couldn’t win here, so Asuka pinned Lynch after blowing green mist in her eyes when Lynch at first tried to use Asuka’s umbrella as a foreign object.”

Becky Lynch knew what she was doing when she pitched the idea of her losing. It is admirable the professionalism ‘Big Time Becks’ has behind the scenes. What do you make of this latest development? Let us know in the comments section and on our social media pages.
