It appears the Women’s Tag Champs will not feature on SmackDown.
When Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out of Monday’s RAW taping, it was expected that they would not appear at SmackDown Friday. However, several fans and former stars have speculated that the the walkout is a work.
It had been previously reported that Sasha Banks and Naomi were pulled from the road by WWE. Sasha Banks’ husband denied that was the case via Twitter. Now, Mike Johnson of PW Insider has reported that Sasha and Naomi will not be at tonight’s SmackDown in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
“Naomi’s husband Jimmy Uso is in Michigan for the taping tonight but Naomi did not travel with him, according to WWE sources.”
“Sasha Banks has not been seen in Michigan, and a long-time Elite subscriber sent word last night that Banks was on the same flight as her going to Minneapolis from Orlando.”
