Sting has been one of the biggest names in pro wrestling of the last 30 years. With his notoriety comes nicknames. One of the more prominent nicknames Sting has had is “The Icon.” Sting is looking like he will be off AEW TV for a while following an attack from the Undisputed Elite on AEW Dynamite.
Sting (real name Steve Borden) teamed up with gimmick attorney Michael E. Dockins to lock down the nickname. The trademark filing notes that he intends to use the mark for pro wrestling, merchandise, toys, energy drinks, and more.
