SmackDown Hits 2 Million Viewers, Up 200K From Last Week

It looks like SmackDown’s blockbuster edition drew in the big numbers.

There were a lot of reasons why SmackDown was must-see TV this week. The show was stacked from start to finish and was one of the better episodes of the year so far. The show was shrouded in rumours about WWE possibly referencing to the walkout during the program. They ended up doing so just before the nights main event – Tag Title Unification, where the Uso’s defeated RK-Bro thanks to an assist from Roman Reigns.

According to Spoiler TV, May 20th’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown brought in an overnight average of 2 million viewers with a .40 in the 18 to 49 demographic.

The May 13th episode of SmackDown brought in 1.7955 million viewers with a .4 in the 18 to 49 demographic.

A 200k jump for the WWE in a chaotic week, time will tell if they can replicate these ratings next week.
