Sasha Banks Was Originally Scheduled To Face Charlotte At WrestleMania
It appears Sasha Banks may have more reasons than originally thought for her walkout.
Its been a rough week for Sasha. On Monday, she walked out of the Monday Night RAW taping along with her tag team partner Naomi. The former champs handed in their championships and left the building. This has created a domino effect featuring an official WWE statement and the announcement of their suspension being announced live on television by Michael Cole on Friday’s SmackDown.
During the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed Sasha Banks’ situation a bit more. He explained that Banks was actually very upset about her WrestleMania booking since WWE switched things around on her.
“Sasha has always had issues, you know she was mad that Ronda got the WrestleMania spot, which you know was planned for Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair which was planned for months, I wrote about it. She got moved down and they gave her the tag belts as kinda like a concession because she got moved down.”

If this is an accurate report from Meltzer, it would make a lot of sense and establish a clear motive behind Sasha’s walkout. Would you have preferred to see Sasha Banks’ in Ronda Rousey’s position at WrestleMania? Let us know in the comment section and on our social media pages!
