WWE Wanted Cody Rhodes In WWE 2K22

It appears WWE tried to get Cody in the latest WWE game.

According to SportsGamersOnline.com, Rhodes never made it into the game despite his best efforts. Last week, SGO reported that WWE was in talks with Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of “2K” series producer Visual Concepts, to include the American Nightmare as downloadable content in the game once he returned.

The source revealed that “they knew it was unlikely but you don’t know for sure unless you ask.” According to the article, there just wasn’t enough time to add Rhodes to the game due to the amount of detail that goes into character creation, especially because the game’s entrance announcements are delivered by Greg Hamilton, who had already been released from the company.

It looks like fans will have to continue to use Cody Rhodes as a created wrestler instead of the real model. Cody will surely be in WWE 2K22 and possibly the cover star.
