Kurt Angle Still Believes John Cena Will Break Ric Flair’s World Title Record
Kurt Angle still believes in one of historic rivals.
It is unarguable that John Cena and Ric Flair are two of the biggest names in the world of pro wrestling. Cena has been a fantastic crossover star and was the face of the WWE for a decade and a half. Both men have held 16 world titles in WWE and it has been expected for a while now that Cena will win his 17th before he retires from the ring.
While speaking on his AdFreeShows podcast, WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle stated that he believes John Cena will surpass Ric Flair’s record of World Title reigns.
“The answer is simple. Yes! Yes, he will break Ric Flair’s record). I genuinely believe that John Cena will be the only 17-time world champion. I do believe Randy Orton is going to catch up to him and possibly surpass him. So, you know, I know that records are made to be broken, and I believe John Cena is going to break Ric Flair’s record.”
