It looks like we won’t find out until the card begins.
MJF is no stranger to controversy. He is a heat magnet and is regarded as one of the best heels in the world at this time. However, at AEW Fan Fest on Saturday, MJF no showed a meet and greet he was scheduled for with security notifying fans that they could not reach the star. Fightful Select would report that a flight had been booked out of Las Vegas for MJF last night.
Thankfully, some positive news regarding the situation has now been given. According to PW Insider, MJF is still in Las Vegas, which means he did not actually fly back to the East Coast.
For those who are asking (and there are a LOT of you), we are told MJF is still in Las Vegas as of this writing, which would mean he did not fly back to the East Coast, which until an hour or so ago remained a possibility.
For those who are asking if the situation is a work, that is a big NO, but obviously everything can be retroactively converted into one if everyone gets on the same page.
