At AEW Double Or Nothing this past Sunday, we witnessed CM Punk capture the AEW World Heavyweight Championship in a fantastic match with former champion Hangman Adam Page. Punk would win the match with his GTS after Hangman hesitated to use the AEW title as a weapon. A large portion of the feud was built around Hangman not liking Punk.
While speaking during the post AEW Double Or Nothing media scrum, CM Punk was asked if anyone dislikes him in AEW. Punk stated that only nobodies dislike him backstage.
If there’s people backstage that don’t like me, it’s a minority. If anybody says that nobody wants me here, nobody likes me, I’d like to say that nobodies don’t like me and nobodies don’t me here.
