Jake Atlas may be out with an injury, but it seems his career may never get back on track.
Jake Atlas is one of the few male professional wrestlers that is openly gay. Of course, this isn’t a problem in the slightest to most fans, but some have been homophobic and abusive to the former AEW star and while he doesn’t deserve3 that bigotry, he may be in for a lot more hatred.
Per PWInsider, Atlas was arrested on 5/23 in and charged with misdemeanor battery (domestic assault) on his partner of several years. He was released from jail the same day he was arrested and is set to appear before Orange County, Florida court on 6/28. We will not reveal the name of the partner, however it does not look good for Jake Atlas.
Atlas debuted in AEW vs Adam Cole a couple of months ago, but has been on the shelf with an ACL tear since. It is worth noting that Atlas has been removed from the AEW Roster page over the last few days. It is certainly not looking good for the former NXT star.
