It’s been a roller-coaster few weeks for CM Punk
When CM Punk signed with AEW, there were many critics and assumptions made regarding the former WWE champion. He had stepped away from the industry and was expected to never return to the squared circle. Of course, that all changed last year when Punk returned to pro wrestling with AEW.
Many fans were surprised that Punk was kept out of the world title picture for so long, but Tony Khan claimed in the AEW DON Post Show that no one had made as big an impact in AEW as Punk.
“I can tell you, no one wrestler has ever come in and made a bigger plus delta financial difference in the history of my company going into the third year anniversary, No one person has ever made a more positive impact.”
