Matt Cardona Confirms Torn Bicep Injury, Will Require Surgery
Looks like Matt Cardona might be on the shelf for a while.
At GCW Downward Spiral on May 28, Cardona announced he suffered an arm injury in his bout against Blake Christian. Cardona missed his after party on Saturday, saying he was heading back to Orlando to get his arm checked out. He noted that he ‘thought’ he suffered a torn bicep.
Cardona took to Twitter to confirm the news:
Got a MRI today. Bicep is torn. Surgery needed. Will unfortunately need to cancel some dates.

It is unknown how long Cardona will be out with the injury but a torn bicep usually leads to 4-5 months on the shelf for a normal person. Time will tell how many Cardona will have to cancel in the coming days.
