MJF has his share of haters and lovers.
Over the last week we have heard time and again about MJF and what the fans, as well as other wrestlers, feel in regards to his current drama. At AEW Double Or Nothing MJF would face Wardlow in the opening match of the PPV. He would lose in spectacular fashion as Wardlow dominated from the opening bell. Seven minutes and 12 powerbombs later, MJF was stretchered out of the arena, possibly writing MJF off AEW TV for now.
While speaking on his Hall of Fame show, Booker T said that he believes MJF will be treated like a big star in WWE and not get buried, as many people think.
“This thing with MJF, does it have some bite to it? Is it something that could really, really happen? I think so. I really think a guy like MJF – people say, a lot of people say if he goes to WWE he’s going to get buried – I think if MJF went to WWE, he would be one of the biggest stars this world has ever seen. Just because I think like this as well – in AEW, who’s talked about the most there, in an upward scale, in a positive way, as far as perhaps being the next big thing as far as professional wrestling goes? My thing is, this dude really does have all the cards and it’s just about how he play ’em.”
